Events
We love to organise events for the children of Walberton & Binsted Church of England School!
Our aim is for everyone to have as much fun as possible (including the adults), while at the same time fundraising which helps further the education of our children.
Throughout the year, we organise and fund a range of events. We appreciate ALL help, including participation leading up to the events and/or helping out on the day!
We are very excited to announce we will be holding our Summer Fair on Friday 14th June. The fair will be held from 3.30pm-5.30pm and will be open to all our families and the local community. We have lots of fun stalls planned, along with a BBQ, bar and music. We are looking forward to a fun filled afternoon.
The fair will be mostly cash free and will be run using tokens, which can be purchased in advance and also on the day. Each stall with have a price of 50p or £1. Cash/Card will be used for the BBQ, Bar, Ice Cream, Sweets and Train only.
A golden token will be up for grabs!!!
We would love for the children to design the stall signs.
Each year group will be allocated 2 stalls to choose from (as noted in brackets) and the best design wins a golden token to spend on a stall of their choice. Please bring your designs into school before 7th June. Good Luck 😊

The Jam jar stall is one of the children’s favourite stalls. To make this stall happen we need your help! We need Jam jars filled with wrapped sweets, stationary or small toys. Last year we trialled a new stall ’Hoop A Toy’ this was a big hit with the children! To make this stall work we need donations of toys. We are bringing back ‘Adopt a Teddy’ which the children have loved in the past therefore we need donations of Teddies for this to happen (toys/Teddies in a good condition you would be happy to receive). We will be taking donations from 8.30-9.00am Monday 3rd – Friday 7th June. Please remember without your donations we are unable to make these stalls happen.
Bottle Tombola is always a hit with the adults! Please bring a bottle on Friday 7th June. As a thank you for bringing a bottle, this day will be a dress down day for the children. PTA members will be collecting bottles outside the gates in the morning.
We already have some fab Prizes this year including Festival of Speed Tickets. A full list will be published shortly and tickets will be available on Class List. If anyone has any raffle prizes they are able to donate, we would be very grateful.
We need lots of helpers to help support and cover stalls on the day. Please pop me a message if you can come and join in the fun and help out for the day on walbertonandbinstedpta@outlook.com. Alternatively, there will be a sign-up list outside the school office.
